about us
Our Story
Aviah Whole Foods is committed to providing families and the multi-cultural communities at large with fresh produce such as: organic, non-organic, fresh fruits/vegetables, dry fruits, nuts, tropical fruits, spices, leafy vegetables, berries, rooted vegetables, legumes-beans, peas, lentils, non genetically modified organism (GMO) produce, seed products, fungi/mushroom, poultry/chicken, indigenous world foods, gluten/gluten free grain, flours and vegan bread.
As part of the collective celebration of Aboriginal Indigenous history, we are obligated as consumers to recognize we are currently on native land. Consumers must become active participants during our stay here on earth by educating consumers about how food and the environment affects our quality of health due to lack of knowledge.
It is important farmers, food business owners, various vendors and consumers do what they can by taking steps and responsibility to address and participate in the process to not continue to act within the best interest of capitalism directly or indirectly but within the best interest of the Mother Earth and the natural environmental process such as farm land replenishing and fair trade equality.
Attitude is key to change and to fostering an attitude shift which is necessary to include the involvement of all cultures to secure earth's ability to produce and to reproduce quality foods locally and internationally that are free from any corporate genetically modified organism (GMO) seeds some farmers are using from Monsanto.
It is a fact, some foods we are ingesting are not free from toxins and harmful pesticides or full transparency disclosure. The ongoing "issues of life" such as global warming and food integrity labelling wherever possible must be reformed and pursued through active food activism.
Aviah Whole Foods interviews potential farmers within their immediate environment to ensure its farm animals such as poultry/chicken, turkey, sheep/lamb, cow/beef, pigs and goats are in an environment where farm animals and the rights of farm animals are honoured with the expectation all animals are free range, grazing on natural plant source and the grains the animals are ingesting are free from genetically modified organism (GMO) corn grains. We stand in solidarity with our local farmers, farmers market vendors, independent businesses, local bakeries and wholesale vendors to ensure our clients are getting the best nutritional value for their dollar.
